The congregation first used the German Congregational Church which was located at 1763 NW 62nd St. (now the Interfaith Community Sanctuary)
The congregation moved to a more suitable building located at what is now 20th Ave NW and NW 6lst St (now the Amazing Grace Spiritual Center, 2007 NW 61st St. Seattle, WA 98107 ). It was dedicated Easter Sunday — April 25, 1905. [This may have been temporary while basement was added to the NW 62nd location, because a party picture from 1918 exists in front of the NW 62nd location.}
St. Paul hosted the first Northwest Conference of the Washington Mission District of the Evangelical Church June 24-29, 1909.
On July 1, 1927 Rev. August E. Binder was called to Pastor the church and under his leadership the church flourished.
Ground was broken for a new church building January 23, 1940 at the present location – 6512 12th Ave NW. The building was completed and dedicated on October 27, 1940.
Rev, Theodore Van Dyck became Pastor in 1944 and under his leadership the Congregation became self-sustaining.
A new pipe organ was installed
A new church school curriculum was introduced
Under the pastorship of Rev. Otto Krueger (1959-1968) the new social hall, Sunday school rooms, and narthex were added.
Over the years the congregation has had periods of struggle but also of celebration
Under the leadership of Rev. Del Elliott (1971) the congregation has continued to be faithful to its commitment to the Washington N. Idaho Conference of U. C. C. It has increased the use of its church building for community groups. It has cooperated with other churches in educational experiences and has remained financially solvent.
